Denisse Estefany Mendoza Valdez is a Brooklyn based writer, actress, and producer. She studied writing with Kate Moira Ryan, David Davila, and Matthew Paul Olmos.
As an immigrant woman, her storytelling explores the clash of her Mexican heritage and her adopted American culture. Denisse has been a professional actress for seven years and began to write when she realized the stories she wanted to hear were not being told. Her stories highlight trauma and mental health to provide hope in the solitude these can generate.
